USGS Stream Flow WordPress Plugin Details

This plugin allows you to use a shortcode to display the USGS River Data for a site location via the USGS Water Data API. The shortcode can be included in Posts, Pages, and Text Widgets. The shortcode allows you to set your title and whether or not to show a graph with it. The displayed results will inherit the styles from your theme and can be customized via CSS or utilizing the multiple WordPress hooks and filters that have been added.

You can also use the plugin to search for USGS Site Locations by state. This is a great tool if you are trying to find locations close to you and don’t know the USGS location id.

You can install the plugin directly from the WordPress backend by searching for USGS in the plugin screen or by downloading the plugin via the WordPress Repository. If you like the plugin or have questions, please feel free to leave a comment or contact us. You can also view the source code on GitHub.
